Glas is the Gaelic word for Green, but also speaks of the fragility of our climate and the need to protect it. We are Glas by name and Green by nature. Born right here in British Columbia, but shaped by our Irish roots, we bring fresh perspectives and practical experience to help organizations unlock their full potential while strengthening their resilience and positioning them as active contributors to the climate solution. ​​

Expertise
With backgrounds in mechanical engineering and environmental planning, Glas Energy combines technical precision with a systems-level view of energy efficiency sustainability. Our team’s experience spans mechanical design, project management, energy auditing, and renewable energy consulting. We have managed retrofit projects across 40+ buildings, completed facility and condition assessments for more than 80 municipal sites, and supported housing providers, SMEs, and charities in advancing their sustainability goals. From solar PV and wind feasibility studies to waste, water, and air leakage audits, we have guided organizations through a wide range of energy efficiency and asset management initiatives. This foundation allows us to deliver solutions that are not only technically sound but also resilient and aligned with the realities of long-term building performance.
